| I wish I could say that people have been asking for this, but
I can't :). This mod sure makes me want to go out and buy one of

Well, this gun certainly sucks. It just got it for three bucks at Walgreens
the other day. It has a five round clip, and after every round is fired, you
just pull back on the slide there. It has a really good rate of fire, five
shots in about four seconds, and the clip feeding system seemed reliable. So
I thought, if I can just pack some beef into it, the thing might make a
decent gun. Now, I doubt anyone even has or will get this gun at any point in
their life (well a couple people have mentioned it on NO and NC, but not
many). I more intend this just to be interesting reading.
I've begun to take the slide off...
Opened up. Pretty simple, actually.
Grab this midget of a piston chamber, and cut two little ridges. Loop a
couple of rubber bands in there, and hook 'em on to the trigger.
Put it back together...
And there you have it. I eventually put some electrical tape around the
handle and the cocking grip, but that's optional. Originally, this gun had an
average range of about 10 feet. Now, this gun has an average range of
approximately 30 ft, and I've even got it to shoot over 40 ft once! Double
this with it's quick rate of fire and solid clip loading system, and you've
got a reliable, medium/close range, clip fed pistol! I can slide this thing
in my cargo pocket with ease, and tomorrow I'm going to go out and get a
couple of more of these so I can have multiple clips. Also, this gun is
pretty weak, but I think that if you take a drill with the right drill bit,
and hollow the barrels out some, you might be able to ram a 3/8" dart down
there. This would be much cheaper ammo, and I think it would get better range
(due to the superior aerodynamics). Unfortunately, I'm grounded from going to
Home Depot or any hardware store (yes, that is a very big punishment for
me....) for two weeks now, so it'll be a while before I can get back to
YakMan on this one.
After experimenting with the darts, I found that if one cuts
off the big flat tip, the darts ROCKET out of the barrel. I also
snapped off one of the barrels on the clip by accident. I don't
recommend this mod.
